Kallas Calls out Russia for Making Mockery of Peace

EU top diplomat Kaja Kallas lambasted Russia today, as it commited another brutal war crime upon Ukraine’s civilian population – hurling North Korean ballistic missiles into several Ukrainian cities, including the capital Kyiv.
Noting that Russia doesn’t pursue peace and is making a mockery of that pursuit, she said:
“The real obstacle is not Ukraine but Russia, whose war aims have not changed,” she said.
Kallas is an ardent defender of Ukraine and rules out the recognition of Crimea as part of Russia, which U.S. President Donald Trump is so keen on.
As the EU’s top diplomat, Kallas has been a vocal advocate for increased pressure on Moscow and unwavering support for Ukraine, emphasizing that Russia’s actions undermine any genuine efforts toward peace.
Vladimir, stop
Meanwhile, Trump begged his pal Putin to stop attacking Ukraine.
He wrote on Truth Social: I am not happy with the Russian strikes on KYIV. Not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying. Lets get the Peace Deal DONE!
Which deal Trump is planning on striking given that Putin wants to continue the war and subjugate all of Ukraine and not just parts of it is a mystery.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the strikes are aimed at putting pressure on Ukraine to accept unacceptable terms like gifting Crimea to Russia and called on the world to increase pressure on Russia.
Russians now focus their war efforts on the massacre of Ukraine’s civilian population, fully under the protection of the US, having seemingly purchased the American presidency.
While claiming to seek peace, Russia launched a deadly airstrike on Kyiv.

This isn't a pursuit of peace, it’s a mockery of it.
The real obstacle is not Ukraine but Russia, whose war aims have not changed.
