A passenger train traveling the Klimov–Moscow route slammed into the ruins of a collapsed bridge at full speed. According to Moskovsky Komsomolets, this was not a lightning-quick accident. Local residents quickly alerted emergency services. A truck driver trapped in the debris was rescued and hospitalized. But 30 minutes later, at 22:50, a passenger train — fully loaded with civilians — barreled into the collapsed structure at full speed.
