Another Russian propagandist enjoying the good life in the west, Indoctrinating His Children to “Kill Ukrainian Fascists”

They live in the despised West, their children ask Russian soldiers to kill “Ukrainian fascists”, and they spread unhinged anti-Ukraine and anti-West propaganda on the internet.
Meet Russian propagandist Oleg Nesterenko and his wife and Ukrainian traitor Vera Pokornaya, both residing in the Parisian suburbs, while bootlicking Russia and praising its war crimes.
Until 2023, neither was subject to much scrutiny. Then, Pokornaya started authoring vile commentary on LinkedIn, where she blamed Russia’s war on Ukraine on NATO and accompanied it with a degrading picture of the EU kissing the U.S.’s feet, before suddenly going silent and removed all the posts as well as the LinkedIn profile.
Her husband, Krasnodar-born Nesterenko, who moved to France to make a living that he couldn’t in his beloved homeland, also gained prominence thanks to his poison-penned anti-Ukrainian and anti-western propaganda like “Conflict in Ukraine: Genesis” where he blames Russia’s desire to subjugate Ukraine on the “survival of the U.S.” Unlike his wife, he has not stopped spreading anti-western and anti-Ukrainian propaganda online with his Linkedin profile still available.
Still, it is the fact that they indoctrinated their children to the extent that they call on Russia “to kill Ukrainian fascists”, have violated Ukraine’s territorial integrity by illegally crossing into the Russian-occupied Crimea via Russian territory and allowing their child to obtain Russian citizenship, and working against the State of Ukraine that has really caught the attention.
Pokornaya’s decision to remove her social media was cancelled by her own foolish decision to give an interview to the Crimean-arm of the famous Russian propagandistic publication Moskovskiy Komsomolets where she admitted full support for Russia’s aggression in Ukraine, her participation in the information war, and denial of Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
Here’s what she said: “In Koreiz, at the Church of the Ascension, I met Lyuba — a kind-hearted woman who actively supports the front. Together with volunteers, they weave camouflage nets and collect humanitarian aid. And what can we do to help from here? Only with words. While adults use those words in the information war, children offer them as a form of support. Daniil and Masha themselves wanted to write letters to the Russian soldier.”
These letters offer chilling insight into the minds of children so indoctrinated that they spend their time writing letters of admiration to people who come to another land to kill their peers.
Here’s one of them authored by Daniil, now 13: “Dear Soldier, This is Daniil, 10 years old, writing to you. When I watch the news, tears come to my eyes. The Russian soldier is the best soldier. I want to wish you health, joy, and happiness. I will be waiting for you because I am sure you will return alive after the war. My grandfather also wanted to go to the front to defend the homeland, but because of his age, they didn’t take him, even though he’s not very old (67 years). My great-grandfather and great-grandmother also fought in 1941. And they didn’t die. Now there are other fascists: Ukrainians. We need to get rid of them, too. Goodbye, Daniil.”
In another letter, Daniil states that “the devil is on the side of Ukraine” while “angels annd heaven are on the side of Russia”, praising the Z sign while his sister Masha says that she “loves Russia very much, and when we win, I will meet you in Russia with these pies.
And my brother is praying for you throughout your whole service.”
In the spirit of a true Russian she adds in that letter “we can’t go to Russia because we don’t have enough money, but my dad has been saving money for a long time,” without mentioning that her father had to move out from Russia in order to earn money to move back there.
Such efforts, naturally, cannot be unrewarded, which is why both Nesterenko and Pokornayahave been reported to Ukraine’s intel agency, GUR, headed by the fabled Ukrainian top spy Kyrylo Budanov.
In addition to violating Ukraine’s territorial integrity and spreading deliberate anti-Ukrainian propaganda, there are reasons to believe that Crimea-born Pokornaya, who moved to France in 2007 and whose father Yuriy Ivanovich lives in Gaspra, Crimea, Ukraine, may still be in possession of a Ukrainian passport for reasons associated with her original immigration to France and lack of French citizenship, which is clearly stated in a publicly available interview in 2024.
Her and Nesterenko’s children Daniil (born 2012), Mariya (born 2014) are likely French nationals and may be in possession of another passport as well. Meanwhile, Pokornaya gave birth to Ekaterina in 2021 in Crimea, where the child also obtained a Russian passport, suggesting there were complications with its obtainment abroad.
Ironically, in her interview with Moskovskiy Komsomolets, Pokornaya briefly mentioned that she’s worried for her husband Nesterenko as France “passed a law about foreign agents”. But what she really should be worried about is herself as the doings of traitors rarely go unanswered.
