Poland is now the primary focus of Russia’s extensive disinformation apparatus, aimed at sowing chaos and division at every level of society. Polish authorities have identified another Russian group directed by the GRU, Russia’s military intelligence agency, in what officials describe as a calculated effort to influence Poland’s upcoming elections. This discovery highlights ongoing concerns over Moscow’s attempts to sow division and destabilize democratic processes in European nations.

Owned by the Russian Defense Ministry, the Ursa Major sinks off the coast of Spain with valuable cargo. A sanctioned Russian cargo vessel, the Ursa Major, has sunk in the Mediterranean Sea following an explosion in its engine room off the coast of Spain. The incident occurred in international waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Fourteen of the sixteen crew members were rescued and taken to the Spanish port of Cartagena, while two remain missing.
