Putin’s Spox Says He Doesn’t Want To Stop War

Russian dictator’s spox Dmitry Peskov has rejected the FT claim that his employer has agreed to cease hostilities and proposed this solution to U.S. President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff during a meeting in St. Petersburg.
“There are a lot of fakes being published right now,” Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He noted that even respected publications sometimes publish fakes.
“That’s why you should only listen to primary sources,” he suggested despite the fact that official Kremlin spews out lies most of the time.
The FT article claimed that Putin allegedly agreed to cease hostilities along the frontline and is purportedly not seeking control of four Russian-occupied – though to a varying degree – Oblasts, including Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhya, and Kherson Oblasts.
U.S. representatives are set to travel to London where they’re expected to issue an ultimatum to Ukraine, demanding that it recognise Crimea as part of Russia and abandon its NATO membership aspirations.
