russia Kills 13 year old girl as it continues to Pound Ukraine

Russia has launched yet another drone attack on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, targeting civilians in their sleep. Among the victims is a 13-year-old girl who was killed in her home.

Local officials report that the strike occurred in the Samarskyi district, where a drone hit a residential building, burying children under the rubble. Residents managed to pull one child—a girl born in 2012—from the debris, but she died while being transported to hospital. Another girl, born in 2019, was rescued by emergency crews and is now in medical care.

The children’s parents sustained injuries but refused hospitalization.

In a separate strike in the Synelnykivskyi district, a drone hit an industrial facility, causing a fire. Initial reports suggest there were no casualties.

Russia pretends it wants a ceasefire 

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced a temporary ceasefire for the 9th of May parade when Russia celebrates victory in WWII.

Neither U.S. President Donald Trump nor Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved of the move, saying that both are seeking a 30-day ceasefire that Ukraine agreed to over a month ago.

The attack comes just several days after Russia barraged Kyiv with North Korean missiles, killing at least 10 people and injuring over 70, including children.
